Snorkelling involves just a glass that covers your eyes and nose and a pipe that is used for breathing whereas Scuba diving uses sophisticated underwater breathing equipment. You can dive down much deeper with scuba equipment whereas while snorkeling you are just floating on the surface.
Best season for Scuba diving in India is Dec and Jan due to visibility and flat water movements. However, scuba diving can be done all months except monsoon from June to Sept in India as sea what is rough.
its is advised not to go for scuba diving in during monsoon season.
